Health Infrastructure NSW is redeveloping Concord
Hospital which, originally opened as a military
hospital in 1941. It has a long history of working
with veteran’s communities and this will continue
with Stage 1’s delivery of Australia’s first
National Centre for Veterans' Healthcare to
support the health and well-being of veterans’ and
their families. It will also increase the
hospital’s inpatient/outpatient capacity and
deliver the Rusty Priest Centre for Rehabilitation
and Aged Care.
BKH Group are proud to be engaged with Roberts
Pizzarotti to deliver this 8 storey
state-of-the-art clinical services building.
BKH provided 82,000sqm of formwork to the
structure and included supply and install of
jumpforms, crane lifted core systems, table
systems and shoring to the high strutting areas
with our rosett system. Our scaffold division
BKH Scaffold also provided all perimeter edge
protection works with our Kwikstage scaffold
system which includes the supply, design,
transport, install and removal of 2,000 tonnes on
site.
The structure has recently topped out and we look
forward to seeing the completed building in 2021.
