BKH Group are proud to be working with Built on
the delivery of 6 & 8 Parramatta Square for Walker
Corporation.
One of the largest urban renewal projects in the
country, the $2.7 billion Parramatta Square
redevelopment will revitalise Parramatta city
centre with premium grade office space, a
multi-level retail podium and civic facilities
that reflect the latest global thinking in design,
productivity and amenity. The 55-storey tower will
be the largest commercial building in Australia,
comprising of 124,000sqm of office space.
Overall, the tower consists of 330,000sqm of
formwork. Our ACSA jumpform on the western side
currently sits at L30 and recently the jumpform on
the east has been removed. The lead deck is at L27
with the slab footprint covering 6 pour areas. We
are using our internal and external formwork
hoists to recycle material and we have our
hydraulic screens protecting the slab perimeter.
For the cantilevered slabs and transitions of the
tower profile, we are utilizing our Rosett to
protect and support the formwork.
The structure is progressing well and has reached
the halfway point in height. Thank you to the
Built team for their continued delivery on this
significant development in the Parramatta CBD and
to our own BKH Group team for the hard work and
contribution on this impressive structure.
